The main focus of our discussion was the use of centers in our classrooms. We agreed:
Our teachers have ample materials available to create centers.
The extra time required to create the centers was a problem for some teachers. Some specialists are helping teachers to put materials together for centers. This additional work might taper off as teachers worked together.
Some teachers might like to observe teachers who are successfully using the center approach especially in math and science. Our team will investigate ways to make this happen.
